Why did I decide to throw an Animal Crossing Birthday Party for my five-year-old? To pass the time while stuck at home in 2021, I downloaded the popular Nintendo Switch game which is called Animal Crossing. I had no idea how thoroughly addicted I would become. What’s the best part? The game is simple enough that my five-year-old daughter, Anna, could join me together to play it.
We played the game together for months while the world around us came to a halt. When we started self-quarantining in March, I was certain that everything would be finished by August. I had originally planned a Ninja Turtle-themed birthday party for my son at a nearby skate park. Nope. I was mistaken. By August, things had not calmed down, and all of the parks were still closed. So, I had to reconsider her party location and theme.
When I asked Anna, if she wanted an Animal Crossing New Horizons birthday party, she immediately said YES! With only ten days to plan everything, I started planning the most epic Animal Crossing Birthday party ever! And…? I have these following as one of her birthday party invitation cards.
