Earlier this month, it was my nephew, Toby’s fourth birthday. He requested a Numberblocks cake for his birthday because he adores the CBeebies program Numberblocks so much. Sure, I replied, that can’t be too difficult! Fair enough, the cakes themselves weren’t too difficult; the challenging part was the ornamentation and the hurdle led me to almost think twice when designing a matching birthday invitation card.
However, if you’re here, I’ll assume that you’re ready for the challenge of building/creating your own Numberblocks elements, so I’ll show you how I did the designing invitation job in style.
This is brilliant! I love designing & doing some creative DIY stuff! I usually got myself a colorful design and you are still going to see that here (lol). I picked colorful bricks as the foundation, decorating the most part of the card (border), leaving the center with plenty big spaces to be able to fit in the text and Number Block’s characters. I bet your little boy/girl will be amazed with his/her birthday invitation! So colorful!
